We’ve already seen the first member of the 99 Club and it is none other than Vikings stud WR Justin Jefferson. Why he wasn’t selected as the cover athlete is still a mystery to me. Josh Allen isn’t a horrible choice but Jefferson had a monster season with over 1,800 yards receiving and taking home Offensive Player of The Year. More young fans identity with Jefferson because of his magnetic personality and his touchdown celebrations. He was the first NFL player to “Griddy” and now 98% of the league use the Griddy as their go-to celebration.

Somehow, Madden has managed to stay relevant in 2023 despite not making many changes to the game year to year. The old-gen versions aren’t even playable at this point, as they’ve given up updating the PS4 and XBox 360 graphics or game modes. Nevertheless, “Ratings Week” has become a mainstay in pop-culture the last few years. So much so that ESPN has partnered with the sports video game franchise to reveal their ratings on the network throughout the week. Monday kicks off the first day of ratings reveals starting with the wide receivers. As updates roll in, you can find all the up to date ratings released from the Madden 24 Twitter account right here on Bank On It!
