Vikings– Losing Stefon Diggs hurt for all of about five seconds. Justin Jefferson (22) is a damn good consolation prize. He’s bigger and stronger than Diggs and you don’t lose much speed if any. He’s an early favorite for OROY. Jeff Gladney (31) at the back of first round was pretty good value for a corner that could’ve gone earlier in the first round. Ezra Cleveland (58) was an interesting pick. His core strength is impressive and projects to play guard in the NFL, though he started at tackle for three years at Boise State. He lacks elite athleticism to stay at tackle in the NFL though. Troy Die (132) might be one of the best values of the whole draft. He’s athletic, he can stuff the run and he’s a good leader. He could be a day 1 starter or start later in the year but he will be on the field.

Cowboys– They nailed every spot in the draft. We know their defense is going to give up points. So they picked up Ceedee Lamb (17) to man the slot. The Cowboys are going to be a nightmare to cover. Lamb will do wonders for Zeke opening up more space for him to run through. Trevon Diggs has first round talent and they got him in round two (51). He should start from day 1. Neville Gallimore (82) is a very athletic defensive tackle. Reggie Robinson III (123) is another ultra-athletic corner that Mel Kiper called his most improved corner of 2019. Tyler Biadasz (146) had a first round grade before the season started but injuries made him slide down teams boards. If he’s healthy you’ve got a rock at center for years to come. Even Bradlee Anae (179) has upside with 13 sacks in 2019. Not only did they secure needs but they got premium talent almost every round. Grand Slam draft for them Cowboys.

CeeDee Lamb Wide Receiver

Ravens– The Ravens got outstanding value in this draft and showed us why they are one of the best teams in the NFL at drafting talent. Patrick Queen (28) fits in perfect with that defense and gives them much needed speed and athleticism in the middle. J.K. Dobbins (55) will be an interesting chess piece and should complement Mark Ingram very well. They will never throw the football again. Justin Madubuike (71) joins a deep rotation of defensive linemen. Devin Duvernay (92) will help breathe life into an average receiving core. He only dropped one pass last year for Texas. He ran every route in the book and he can contribute on special teams from day one. Malik Harrison (98) could become a starter for them later in the season but he was a steal at where they picked him. Tyre Phillips (106) is a monster in the run block game which is exactly what the Ravens like. The Ravens are just better at drafting than everyone else.

Patrick Queen Linebacker

Denver– As a Chiefs fan I’m very frustrated with the drafts of the AFC West. Jerry Jeudy (15) is a rare talent . He’s a threat to stretch the field looking at his 17.3 YPC in his career at Alabama. He will be the perfect complement to Courtland Sutton. They might of found their true #1 receiver for the next decade. Then they picked up another vertical demon in K.J. Hamler (46). He’s a Tyler Locket-type player who gives Drew Lock another weapon. Michael Ojemudia (77) is dripping with potential but has some inconsistencies last season at Iowa. But he ran a 4.45 at the combine so the Broncos think they can mold him. At pick (83) Lloyd Cushenberry III addressed a need and Cushenberry has great potential as a cornerstone on the offensive line. He has the highest wingspan of any interior lineman in this class (84 inches). McTelvin Agim (95) is an intriguing prospect dripping with potential. He can play end in the 3-4 or slide to tackle in the same base defense. He has the ability to stay on the field and rush the passer in nickle and dime. TE Albert Okwuegbunam (118) is a good athlete with a nose for the end zone. He’s a former teammate of Lock’s at Missouri. Denver got immediate help for Drew Lock to be able to take the next step forward. They could be a sneaky playoff team if Lock finds his groove in this offense.

Jerry Jeudy Wide Receiver

DolphinsQB Tua Tagovailoa (5) is the crown jewel of this class obliviously. They didn’t have to trade any of their picks to get him which was even better. OT Austin Jackson (18) was a bit of a reach but the Dolphins just need warm bodies on the offensive line. Jackson had a third round grade from me. He will need time to develop but the size and the traits are there. CB Noah Igbinoghene (30) fits their system well even though he was picked higher than most teams had him on their boards. He’s a physical man corner with elite speed. He’s raw but in a defense like this he won’t be asked to guard on an island all the time. G Robert Hunt is going to start from day 1 and be a really good player for them. DT Raekwon Davis and S Brandon Jones add even more talent and depth on the defensive side of the ball. This would’ve been a grand slam if they didn’t reach for Jackson with the 18th pick. Still, they filled holes and most of all, they got their quarterback. Hopefully.
